Weekly Bible Studies - 
Bible Study on the Epistle to the Philippians every Thursday afternoon at 1:00 PM
The Chosen-Season 5 will be shown each Thursday at 2:00PM 


UPCOMING EVENTS

November 23rd
Community Thanksgiving Service

The Community Thanksgiving Service sponsored by the Berwick Ministerium will be held on November 23rd at 3:00 pm at the Salvation Army Center.  It will be a non-traditional service and people are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Berwick Food Pantry. 

December 14th
Annual Meeting of the Congregation. 

The Annual meeting of the St. John's Congregation will be held after the morning service on December 14th.  Only members in good standing will be allowed to vote at the annual meeting.  Passage of the budget and voting of Council members, plus any other business which is brought before the floor will be conducted.  

December   7th

Hanging of the Greens

The Annual Hanging of the Greens service will be held on December  7th as part of the morning worship service.  This is a blended service of carols and readings of the traditional items of Christmas.  Please see Pastor Warnt if you would like to volunteer for the service.

St. John's is an ELCA Lutheran congregation.  We are the oldest church in Mifflinville founded in 1792.  Our mission is focused on serving those in our community and around the globe.  We believe that all people have a special gift from God to help serve and to worship God in their own unique and special way!!

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

St. John's was founded as a Union Church with the German Refored in 1792.  We were known in deeds and documents as the "German Church" since our heritage were the German settlers in Columbia County..

OUR MINISTRIES

St. John's offer a wide variety of ministries.  We offer a Children's Learning Time on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 am  We also have a Vacation Bible School in June.  We have a Grief Support Ministry The Welcome Table a Senior lunch gathering and more!

WORSHIP SERVICE

We worship on Sundays at 9:00 am with a traditional service with Holy Communion each Sunday,  We have an adult choir, a handbell and handchime choir and occasionaly special guest musicians  We also sponsor our annual "Polka Mass" in October each year

There are many different ways to support the mission and ministries at St. John's From donation of non-perishable food items, cooked meals for the welcome table and through monetary giving.  Contact our church office if you would like to support our ministries.
